Julia grew up in the DC suburbs and began playing field hockey in middle school as a midfielder. In high school, she tried playing goalie at practice on a whim and ended up loving the position so much that she continued as goalkeeper for her high school's varsity, indoor and summer league teams, as well as a club team. She attended OSU and coached the youth field hockey team back home during her summers. She now works full-time in Columbus and is excited to be involved with field hockey again!
